The DIVERSICROP, RECROP, and PANGEOS COST Actions held their joint mutual conference, “Cultivating connections: interdisciplinary insights from Diversicrop, Recrop and Pangeos” in Prague, Czech Republic, from May 4–6, 2026. It took place at the Institute of Physics of the Czech Academy of Sciences.
Two of our Centre members participated in this unique event.
Dr. Dragana Miladinović, as co-leader of the DIVERSICROP task, gave a lecture entitled “Existing Practices and Constraints for Field Pea, Chickpea, and Rye Production—A Survey,” where she presented the key results of the joint work.
Dr. Aleksandra Radanović, leader of the RECROP working group WG4, presented a poster entitled “Molecular Regulation of Drought Response in Sunflower” and chaired the Sustainability Session.
The conference enabled the exchange of knowledge and the connection between researchers from various fields, such as crop resistance with special attention to the reproductive phase, diversification through underutilized species, and the application of various remote sensing techniques in agriculture.
